Co-founder of the BioNR Laboratory, she leads a research program at the interface of neuroscience, engineering, and health, focused on the neurobiology of pain. Her work integrates experimental, analytical, and translational approaches, leveraging EEG and advanced signal processing methods, and contributes to the training of students from diverse disciplinary backgrounds.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"804\" data-end=\"1260\">She has established national and international collaborations with academic, clinical, and industrial partners. Her research has led to the development of the Piq algorithm (Pain Identification and Quantification), along with technology transfer initiatives supporting its deployment in applied settings. Through her scientific and institutional leadership, she contributes to structuring an interdisciplinary innovation ecosystem in the life sciences.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"232\" data-end=\"704\">___________________________________________________________________<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-section-id=\"1eyfwsa\" data-start=\"111\" data-end=\"151\"><span role=\"text\"><strong data-start=\"136\" data-end=\"146\">Profil<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"153\" data-end=\"769\">Suzy Ngomo, PhD, a compl\u00e9t\u00e9 sa formation m\u00e9dicale au Gabon. Elle est professeure titulaire en neurosciences \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec \u00e0 Chicoutimi (UQAC), au Canada, o\u00f9 elle occupe actuellement les fonctions de doyenne de la recherche, de la cr\u00e9ation et de l\u2019innovation. Cofondatrice du laboratoire BioNR, elle d\u00e9veloppe un programme de recherche \u00e0 l\u2019interface des neurosciences, de l\u2019ing\u00e9nierie et de la sant\u00e9, centr\u00e9 sur la neurobiologie de la douleur. Ses travaux int\u00e8grent des approches exp\u00e9rimentales, analytiques et translationnelles, mobilisant l\u2019EEG et des m\u00e9thodes avanc\u00e9es de traitement du signal, et contribuent \u00e0 la formation d\u2019\u00e9tudiants issus de disciplines compl\u00e9mentaires.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"771\" data-end=\"1207\">Elle a structur\u00e9 des collaborations nationales et internationales avec des partenaires acad\u00e9miques, cliniques et industriels. Ses recherches ont conduit au d\u00e9veloppement de l\u2019algorithme Piq, ainsi qu\u2019\u00e0 des d\u00e9marches de valorisation visant son d\u00e9ploiement en contexte appliqu\u00e9.
